Learning to Walk, Day 5, Thursday, September 1

Le Domaine Sauvage to Aumont-Aubrac. I made it. 29 km. It was supposed to be 28, but I got turned around and walked 1/2 k out of the way, and then had to walk back. Got to the Ferme Du Barry gite with just enough time to shower and wash today’s clothes before dinner. What ever possessed me to think I could handle 28 km on day 5???? I don’t think there is anything hurting that won’t recover with Advil and a night’s sleep. But I don’t have time or energy to tell you much about today. As all days, it was spectacular.
